Flight Deck Door Control Panel
Overview
The Flight Deck Door Control Panel is used to operate and monitor the status of the cockpit door, including door locking, access request handling, and system fault indications.
Panel Component Description
DENY / UNLK Switch
- This is a momentary toggle switch.
- Default position: Automatically returns to the center when released.
- UNLK: Unlocks the cockpit door. Must be lifted before toggling.
- DENY: Denies an entry request.
SOLENOIDS FAILURE Indicator
- Gray/off: Normal condition.
- White/on: Solenoid lock failure.
SYSTEM FAILURE Indicator
- Gray/off: System operating normally.
- White/on: Internal failure of the FLIGHT DECK DOOR control system.
OFF Button
- Used to cut off power supply to the cockpit door system.
- Must hold in the UNLK position for 5 seconds to enter maintenance mode.
UNLOCKED Indicator
- Off: Cockpit door is locked.
- On: Cockpit door is open or solenoid lock is disengaged.
ACCESS Indicator
- Off: No entry request, or request already handled.
- Steady green: Normal entry request.
- Flashing yellow: Emergency entry request.
