Center Pedestal Light Control Panel


Overview

The Center Pedestal Light Control Panel is used to adjust the brightness of the center pedestal area, footwell, and instrument panel flood lighting. The panel consists of two rotary knobs and one push button, each responsible for adjusting brightness levels in different areas and toggling light switches.


Panel Functions Explained

Pedestal Panel/Flood Light (PED PNL/FLOOD) Knob

  • Rotate: Clockwise to increase brightness, counterclockwise to decrease. At OFF position, lights are turned off.
  • Outer ring: Adjusts backlighting brightness for the pedestal panels.
  • Inner ring: Adjusts pedestal floodlight brightness.

Note

In a dim cockpit environment, the outer ring brightness should be set above 10% to meet minimum visibility requirements.


Floor and Footwell Lights (FLOOR) Switch

  • Press (ON): Turns on the floor and footwell lights.
  • Release (OFF): Turns off the floor and footwell lights.

Main Panel/Flood Light (MAIN PNL/FLOOD) Knob

  • Rotate: Clockwise to increase brightness, counterclockwise to decrease. At OFF position, lights are turned off.
  • Outer ring: Adjusts backlighting brightness for the instrument and glare shield panels.
  • Inner ring: Adjusts instrument panel floodlight brightness.

Note

In low-light conditions, it is recommended to set the outer ring above 10% to ensure instrument readability.
