Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions regarding the FYCYC-C919X aircraft model.

ATA 32: Landing Gear

Why can't I steer the aircraft on the ground?

The C919 uses a tiller (steering handwheel) for low-speed ground control and rudder for high-speed directional control. If you have a physical tiller device, it is recommended to bind it to the corresponding steering event.

If you prefer to steer using the rudder pedals, follow these steps:

  1. Set the NWS (Nose Wheel Steering) selector switch to the ON position
  2. Go to the SETTINGS page in the EFB, and check the "Use rudder as tiller" option

You will then be able to steer using the rudder pedals.
