Quick answers to common questions regarding the FYCYC-C919X aircraft model.
ATA 32: Landing Gear
Why can't I steer the aircraft on the ground?
The C919 uses a tiller (steering handwheel) for low-speed ground control and rudder for high-speed directional control. If you have a physical tiller device, it is recommended to bind it to the corresponding steering event.
If you prefer to steer using the rudder pedals, follow these steps:
- Set the NWS (Nose Wheel Steering) selector switch to the ON position
- Go to the SETTINGS page in the EFB, and check the "Use rudder as tiller" option
You will then be able to steer using the rudder pedals.
